Here's the recipe for...
B's Bird Cookies (or her preferred name, Trail Bites)
makes approximately 4 dozen
(recipe after the jump)
Combine: 2 cups flour
1 cup raisins
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups sunflower seeds
1 1/2 cups choc chips (I used mini semi-sweet)
1 cup ground flax seed (brown)
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
1/2 cup poppy seeds
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
Cream: 1 cup butter/margarine
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

| Add the two mixtures together (it is rather dense, so use your hands). |

| Roll into balls and flatten. The cookies will pretty much stay the same size you make them. |
