bling.

I've been enjoying window shopping on the web sites www.hautelook.com and www.beyondtherack.com. I hadn't bought anything because there wasn't anything that *really* caught my eye that I needed. Until I decided I really needed a watch. One that didn't include Velcro. Or fake material that disintegrated after a couple months of wear.  Something I could wear to work. Or with jeans. And something that wouldn't irritate my pain-in-the-ass-sensitive-skin.

Hautelook just happened to finally have one I liked (relatively simple, with actual numbers and number places!) that was in my price range (cheap affordable). I was delighted upon my return from vacation, on my desk at work waiting for me was my new watch! I went tonight to have a couple of links out so it would fit properly and - ta da! And the folks at the watch shop commented on "Oh, wow, where did you get this watch? It's incredibly good quality!" Yes. It is. It retails for $495 USD. I definitely didn't pay anywhere near that for it. Much as I love good quality stuff, I don't know if I'd ever be able to shell out that kind of cash for a watch. But, thanks to my online shopping savvy, I'm now sporting kick-ass swag.
